New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie joined funnyman Jimmy Fallon for a Father’s Day dance-off on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
The New Jersey governor, wearing hiked-up khaki slacks, boogied down alongside the late-night host for a skit called “The Evolution of Dad Dancing.”
Some of the joke dance moves were called “The Belt Grabber,” “The Lawn Mower” and “The Dance at a Springsteen Concert,” with Christie playing air guitar to “Born to Run.”
Fallon’s “Evolution of Dance” bit has featured other celebs like Will Smith, Justin Timberlake and Michele Obama. This was Fallon’s second dance video featuring moves your dad would make.
The appearance was Christie’s first on “The Tonight Show” since Bridgegate — the scandal over the closure of the George Washington Bridge — broke. As he walked onstage, the house band played a rendition of the hip-hop classic “The Bridge Is Over.” -New York Post
